Arguably the world's most famous producer who invented the Wall  of Sound.

95                           PHIL SPECTOR

Born Harvey Phillip Spector on 26th December 1940 in the Bronx, New York, USA. More noted as a producer who pioneered his Wall of Sound technique to many of the 60's greatest records, but he was also often cited a co-writer on many of these. He has also been notorious for being difficult to work with and being mentally unstable recluse, this came to head when in 2003 he was charged with shooting Lana Clarkson in his mansion, this resulted in mistrial in 2008, and he was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to 19 years in prison. Although this has grabbed the headlines his huge contribution to music should not be forgotten.
