One of the most successful writers of the sixties & seventies.

86                   BARRY MASON

Born John Barry Mason on 12th July 1935 in Wigan, Lancashire, England. Barry Mason was essentially a lyricist but occasionally he would contribute a melody, he began writing with Les Reed, where he found great success during the 60's. Since the 70's the hits have dried up but never the work as he's kept himself busy writing for the stage.
