Another Brill Building graduate.
69 CYNTHIA WEIL
Born 18th October 1939 in New York City, USA. Cynthia Weil along with one time husband Barry Mann have been responsible for some of the greatest pop songs in history, in fact Weil's lyrics attacked social injustice long before many of her contemporise. They also were yet another product of the Brill Building where so many other great writers have begun their careers, although her marriage to Mann was not to last, they still write together and in latter years she's turned her attention more to writing for films.
