Born 26th April 1940 in Ortisie, Italy. Giorgio Moroder relocated to Munich, Germany in the late 60's and soon established his own recording studio, from this studio he with fellow writer Pete Bellotte and with help from the singer Donna Summer helped to shape disco. If one track was to define their Euro disco sound it would be I Feel Love, which at the time was a revelation. Moroder has worked with many artists before and since but it was his work with Summer in the late 70's that he will be best remembered. In the last decade he has been quiet on the chart front but he continues to work on film soundtracks.
