One the world's great entertainers.
62 NEIL SEDAKA
Born 13th March 1938 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. A classically trained pianist Neil Sedaka's career has been a story high and low points but his songs have consistently supplied others with hit records. He learnt his trade in the famed Brill Building along with lyricist and childhood friend Howard Greenfield after graduating from The Julliard School of Music, his first success came with the song Oh Carol, written about the now most successful female song writer off all time, Carol King, a former girlfriend. Still performing and recording nearing his seventies and enjoying one of his best years in 2005, Neil Sedaka has proved he's a true survivor.
