36                 ROGER COOK

Born 19th August 1940 in Bristol, Avon, England. Roger Cook's name will forever be linked with that of Roger Greenaway, whom he wrote and performed many of his songs. In fact they often used session musicians to front bands for them, as well as performing in their own right, but it's as a songwriter that Cook will be remembered. In the late 70's he moved to Nashville to try his luck at Country and Western, needless to say he made a success of it, becoming the only Englishman to be elected to The Country Music Hall Of Fame.
